Eleonora Vallone
Eleonora Vallone was born in Rome on 1st February, under the sign of Aquarius, daughter of the actors Raf Vallone and Elena Varzi.
She first started her “search” as a painter, as a cinema, television, theatre actress, and then as a journalist, author. She finally became the creator of AcquaGym and Master Trainer.
She has been a cinema and RAI film actress, she has presented television programmes and shows, among which the San Remo festival. She has written songs and she has been a main star in Musicals and Events.
She can speak Italian, English, French, and Spanish fluently.
She has passionately cultivated and played a lot of sports, swimming, and GymSwim, winter and water ski, horse riding, tennis, classical and modern ballet, Latin American dances, belly dance, roller- and ice-skating, flying trapeze, jogging, yoga, cycling, rowing, rally, savate, and golf. She has then became a diving trainer, a bathing attendant, and she has obtained the 20 miles nautical licence.
As a consequence of harsh personal experiences, she became the inventor and pioneer of water-gym, and the author of a new philosophy of beauty deriving from a free and harmonious movement. Only water can allow a movement like that, because our body can float while our mind is beginning to revive. She also created new open-air disciplines. (NaturalGym).
So she had the idea of AcquaGym and she first brought it to success in Italy and abroad. Over 2,000 exercises are patented with the name of GymSwim.
She then founded in Italy the first school for water-gym Instructors, in this helped by doctors and experts. She has taught her method successfully at the IUMS and at the University of Urbino.
Today, as creator and President of GymSwim, Eleonora Vallone gives Courses for training Acquagym – GymSwim Instructors, granting a C.M.A.S. (Confedération Mondiale des Activités Subaquatiques, founded by J. Cousteau and recognized by C.I.O. and U.N.E.S.C.O.) International Licence, valid in 108 Federations worldwide, and the C.O.N.I. – CSAIN Licence.
She has published a lot of books, among which the one which was awarded the Bancarella Sport prize, “GymNuoto”, and GymVasca, Spergling & Kupfer Editors. “GymSwim” has been translated in Spanish and published by M. Roca.
Eleonora Vallone also organizes Health and Wellness Travels to historical and natural places in Italy and abroad where people can enjoy a thalassotherapy. In cooperation with the Comune di Roma she has planned the “Wellness and History” project, to value this places full of culture.
Recently, Eleonora Vallone has drawn a special collection of healthy and suitable clothes. All in neoprene, unisex, an elegant and sport collection which combines comfort and innovation. It includes particular swimsuits, which help a better floating and “shape” one’s body.
Finally, she has patented GymCream, a new-born cosmetic line, for men and women, anallergic, regenerating, appropriate for sportspeople and travellers thanks to a see-through packing.
